Slipknot Needs Time To Regroup

After the tragic death of bandmate Paul Gray, Slipknot hasn’t decided whether or not to keep making music.
Guitarist Jim Root explains:
“There’s going to be a big healing process that needs to happen before we even think about whether or not Slipknot will continue. And right now that’s the furthest thing from our mind.
“Right now we are just grieving or trying to find time to grieve anyway for the fact that our bro’s gone. It’s weird because some days I don’t even think it’s real, so that one’s not going to make sense for a while.”
Root added that it will be “probably two years at least” before the band regroups and goes forward if at all.
Very sad.

Gresso Releases iPhone 4 In African Blackwood And Gold

Gresso is ready to release the iPhone 4 with a 200-year old African Blackwood for a case and a 18-carat gold for an Apple logo very soon. Priced at between $3000 to $3500 each, the Greeso iPhone 4 will be available in two version. The female version will come with “dainty engraving and Swarovski crystals incrustation”, while the male version will be more strict. The Gresso iPhone 4 will be launched in December 2010. Nikon has come out with a new firmware update ‘version 1.4′ for its Coolpix L110 digital camera. The update “corrects an issue whereby photos taken under incandescent-color fluorescent lighting could be recorded with a warm color cast.” You’ll be able to download the update starting today via Nikon’s official website. Verizon Wireless To Launch Pantech Jest Messaging Phone

A new messaging phone from Pantech is about to be launched by Verizon Wireless. Called the Pantech Jest, this slider phone offers a 2.6-inch display, a 2-megapixel camera, a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, an optical directional key with swipe motion technology, a Web browser, VZ Navigator and provides direct access to social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Sanyo VPC-E1403 Affordable 14-megapixel Compact Digicam

Measuring 99mm x 56.8mm x 18.8mm, the new Sanyo VPC-E1403 is a 14-megapixel compact digital camera that can record videos at a frame rate of 30fps and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The digicam also boasts a 3-inch TFT LCD screen, an ISO sensitivity of up to 6400, an SD or SDHC card slot, a digital image stabilizer and a 3x optical zoom. The smile and blink recognition feature are included for perfect portraits. The camera recognizes smiling faces itself and takes the snap automatically, without you having to press the release. If someone blinks when the shutter closes, the photographer is alerted by the blink recognition and can take another shot. The Sanyo VPC-E1403 is priced at €129 ($157) with a three-year warranty.
