Praktica has come out with a new touchscreen digital camera called the Luxmedia 12-Z4TS. This point-and-shoot camera sports a 12-megapixel CCD image sensor, a 4x optical zoom lens, a 3-inch touchscreen display, a 32MB of internal memory, an SD/SDHC card slot, a USB 2.0 interface and 720p HD video recording (30fps) capabilities. The Luxmedia 12-Z4TS retails for 90 Euro (about $122). [

T-Mobile has released another budget-friendly phone from Samsung namely the T249. Coming in a vertical slider form factor, the handset sports a 176 x 220 TFT display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 100MB of internal memory, a microSD/SDHC card slot, a music/video player, Bluetooth, a microUSB port and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) network. WCG Ultimate Gamer takes a turn for the brutal

Tonight’s WCG Ultimate Gamer is brutal, and not just because the contestants start dropping like flies as soon as the gauntlet starts. It begins innocuously enough. In fact, the first part of the gauntlet is downright quaint with the unexpected appearance of an old friend. What a lovely little surprise you’re in for!
But then it takes a few borderline sadistic twists that have a lot less to do with gaming than they do with messing with the contestants. To quote Jake: “I’m getting a little bit comfortable with how I’m doing, but then my arms are starting to get numb.” Ouch. And I never thought I’d say this, but I almost feel sorry for Yaz a couple of times. Almost.
