The latest DVD player coming out from the house of Sony is the DVP-FX850. The clamshell player tantalizes you with a "high-resolution" eight-inch widescreen LCD that has a 180-degree swivel. It boasts of up to six hours of battery life and will play even those 8 cm DVDs. It features an AV input / output, twin headphone jacks, digital audio output, a 12-bit / 108MHz DAC, and a worldwide power supply. The USB port has been fitted so that you can load music and pictures, plus what's really cool is the slim wireless remote to help you navigate from afar.

Sony's DVP-FX850 portable DVD player will be out sometime next month, but we don't know exactly when it will hit the U.S. shores.
