NEC has rolled out two new professional installation projectors in the form of the NP2200 and NP1200. Designed specifically for large conference rooms or lecture halls, these projectors provide a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, 600:1 contrast ratio, 4200 ANSI lumens (NP2200), 3700 ANSI lumens (NP1200) and up to 3000 hours of lamp life (in ECO Mode). In addition, they also come with 5-watt stereo speakers and several connectivity ports including VGA, DVI-D, HDCP, 5-BNC, multiple audio in/out and RJ45 network control. The NP2200 and NP1200 are priced at $2,399 and $1,999, respectively.
